Romantic Meal Ideas:
Feta Chicken Pizza, Caesar Salad and Easy Red Velvet Cake

I'm here to help you with some romantic meal ideas! The following recipes are some that my husband and I frequently make for our date nights at home. After we put the kids to bed, we have a later meal, complete with candlelight and music. It's a really relaxing and inexpensive date night!

I think pizza is a great romantic meal idea because you can put it into cook and have a few minutes to talk together before the meal starts. I hope you enjoy our recipes! Bon Appetit!

Feta Chicken Pizza

Ingredients

- 1 pizza crust
- 1/3 cup basil pesto
- 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 4 bacon slices, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 an onion, chopped and sauteed until soft
- 2/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup finely grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Spread the pesto onto your crust. Top with remaining 6 ingredients. Bake in 500F oven for 15 - 18 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is browned.

The Best Caesar Salad

- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- croutons
- 1 head romaine lettuce, cut into bite-size pieces

1. Mince 3 cloves of garlic, and combine in a small bowl with mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.
2. Place lettuce in a large bowl. Toss with dressing, remaining Parmesan cheese, and croutons.

Easy Red Velvet Cake Recipe

OK, I feel a little sinful about this recipe because it uses packaged cake mix. But since you're making homemade icing, I think this constitutes as a homemade recipe, right? Right???

Simply add in 1 ounce of red food coloring to a packaged cake mix and bake it according to the directions on the box.

Icing

- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 8 oz package of cream cheese
- 1 3.5 oz package of vanilla pudding mix
- 1 8 oz container frozen whipped topping

Beat together milk and cream cheese. Fold in pudding mix and whipped topping. Spread over cooled cake.
